Local Tech Hero is owned and operated by Joe McCleary.
I have over 12 years of experience as an IT Professional working for private companies. I have had various roles in technology, with none more rewarding than my days spent manning a global help desk, and helping people with their day to day technical challenges.
More and more I am being asked questions about technology and am often horrified by what some of my competitors and "big box" offerings tell people. Some of these so called "technical help" gurus are nothing more then salesman preying on your fears. Local Tech Hero hopes to bring back the trust and honesty that has been lost by providing affordable help and explaining the problem and how to avoid similar problems in the future.
